Meet Shade and Shine- identical black kittens! They are sisters who came to Dun Roamin’ from the Centreville area on August 19, 2021. They had been found alone on a farm path and no mother or siblings were found, despite an intensive search. They really needed help. Shade and Shine were examined by their new vet friend and determined to have been born about July 15, 2021. Both were very tiny for their age
(underweight) and had upper respiratory infection and ear mites, neither of which are conducive to the health of tiny kittens, especially ones with no mother to care for them. These little ones needed to put on some weight and become healthy- and they did! They have been fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV, spayed and are ready to go to loving homes. We are so proud of how far they’ve come! Shade and Shine are social, loving and seek attention. They love to play and be cuddled. Their foster mother said that these two little ones are the sweetest, most loving and affectionate little kittens she has ever fostered! They are both playful, attentive and very loving.
